Abandoned Garage

For several years (2018-2020) I spent many happy hours wandering around the abandoned garage several floors below the Harbor Campus of UMass Boston on Columbia Point. Closed to parking in July, 2006, it had suffered more than a decade of neglect and was filled with peeling paint, dust, and forgotten murals and graffiti. I loved the lines of the old pipes, the textures of crumbling cement and peeling paint, and the eerie light provided by windows and yellowish overhead lamps. A fine example of urban decay.
